Barrie sculpted the old age prosthetics for the elderly Margaret Thatcher character for actress Meryl Streep. The silicone makeup was joint applied by Mark Coulier and Barrie. A gelatine nose appliance was created for the younger stage, sculpted by Mark Coulier and applied by Mark and Barrie. For Coulier Creatures FX. Hair and straight makeup was handled by J. Roy Helland. The makeup won a Bafta and an Academy award in 2012.
